Photo Contest

TeamYakFish will be giving away a kayak fishing prize package at the end of each month. Winner will be determined by a random drawing on the 28th of each month and posted on the TeamYakFish Blog. To be eligible for the prize package you must submit a photo of yourself with a fish or you and your kayak in the same picture. Along with your photo include a brief description of yourself and when and where it was taken. Please include your name, your email address and/or mailing address. Phone numbers are optional. Boat Shows and Events

Hope everyone is getting off to a great start in 2007. This is the time of year for boat shows, outdoor product shows, and special events aimed at the fishing enthusiast. The time of year for the manufacturers to showcase their new products and the cosumers to prepare for a new season. Depending on where you live this may already be under way or could be many weeks from now. January is a good time to clean your tackle, make sure all is well with your kayak and take inventory of what need to be repaired or replaced. This also a good time to visit the boat shows and tackle shows to check out the latest and newest products for the upcoming year. These events are a great way meet your local dealers and get a feel for the products and services they provide. A few bucks spent on a weekend can save you countless hours of searching for a product later on in the year. We urge everyone to support your local shows and dealers. Without your support there will not be events or dealers in your area. In the next few weeks we will be posting some of these products and listing some of the kayak fishing destinations you may want to visit. So check back each week and see what's new.
